The Ahl al-Bait are those who Sadaqah is prohibited to, and also the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) wives and children and every Muslim and Muslimah from the progeny of ‘ Abdul-Mutalib, Banu Hashim bin’ Abdu Manaf.

Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Indeed charity is not suitable for the family of Muhammad for it is the impurities of people”.
